Smart Green IT (SGIT) is a software engineering and information technology company that supports organizations in adopting best practices for developing sustainable IT systems, green software, and responsible data solutions. We focus on designing and operating technologies that are both environmentally conscious and maintainable over the long term, ensuring they do not compromise operational continuity or resource efficiency.

We created the Circle of Influence for Software Quality (CISQ) as part of our innovation efforts. In 2022 and 2023, we designed the Circle of Influence for Sustainability in IT (CISIT), a framework shaped by the combined experience in software, data, and sustainability. Both CISQ and CISIT serve as strategic tools that promote responsible engineering practices and sustainable digital operations.

We are passionate advocates of Software Sustainability (SOS) and Software as Part of Sustainability (SAPOS). At SGIT, we believe that applying agile culture, clean and sustainable architecture, and best design practices during development and operation is not just a matter of technical excellence—it is a key contribution to both economic and digital sustainability.
